The ZMTH-L is our low speed, low noise Horizontal Grinder used in all different types of applications from wood to plastics. The rotor speed is lowered from 990 rpm to 400 rpm, and in cases where really low noise operation is expected (below 85 dbA) we go down to approximately 170 RPM. The ZMTH-L incorporates a truly 4-sided cutter that can be turned 4 times and then replaced. These cutters are bolted into pockets in the solid steel rotor and cut against straight anvils for a clean an precise cut.
